Heritage Festival
Heritage Festival is an annual celebration and is all about bringing people together to celebrate the making of memories. The Burk’s Falls & District Historical Society and the Township of Armour have partnered since 2017 to host the event. Since the partnership and receiving the support from the Township, the event has grown from Heritage Day to Heritage Festival!
Heritage Festival is held on the second Saturday of every July at the Burk’s Falls Fairgrounds, 220 Centre Street.
This year, Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 and runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Due to the success of the event, we have extended the event hours this year. Mark your calendars for the HERITAGE FESTIVAL 2024!
Admission is free, free bottled water and free popcorn will also be available.
Immerse yourself in a day filled with a vendors market, car show, antique tractor display, free face painting, traditional music, delicious food, and fascinating exhibits. At high noon, the Southeast Almaguin Fire Department (Burk's Falls, Kearney, Magnetawan, McMurrich/Monteith and Perry Stations) will converge on the field for their annual Firefighter Challenge! Whether you're a history buff or simply looking for a fun-filled afternoon, this festival has something for everyone. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with our heritage and have a great time with friends and family.
A complimentary in-town bus shuttle service is being organized for 2024, check back soon on details regarding shuttle pick-up/drop-off locations.
